itTaxi, thanks to the collaboration initiated in 2016 with Chainside, a leading Italian startup in the blockchain sector, is continuing its experimentation in the crypto space.
This partnership had already begun in 2016 to allow itTaxi and its associates to accept bitcoin payments for the Radiotaxi 3570 cooperative in Rome.
Today, according to a new press release, this opportunity is being expanded and will spread throughout Italy.
According to the President Loreno Bittarelli:
“itTaxi has always looked at emerging technologies with great interest and because of our desire for innovation, already since 2016 it has been possible to pay with bitcoin on all the taxis of 3570”.
itTaxi has also decided to use the blockchain within its business processes and is trying, together with Chainside, to understand how to use the blockchain to make its internal governance more efficient and to certify its corporate financial statements.
In this regard, President Bittarelli explained:
“Transparency and innovation have always been the main principles of our organisation and after being the first in Italy to launch an application for taxi booking, we will also be the first in our sector to use this new disruptive technology”.
