Justin Sun, CEO of Tron and BitTorrent, has announced the launch of Sun Network, the second-layer solution for the Tron blockchain that will increase the scalability of dApps from the current millions to hundreds of millions, recording a 100X increase.

In his tweet, Justin Sun states:

“TRON will release the detail of Sun Network soon! SUN Network is our layer 2 solution to achieve 100X scalability. TRON’s dApp usage is poised to scale from the current millions to hundreds of millions after launch”.

This time Sun’s message is not about marketing strategies such as partnerships or sponsorships dedicated to the mainstream adoption of crypto, or to tease his now beloved competitor Vitalik Buterin, on the contrary, the CEO of Tron announces a real new phase of development of TRX technology, currently the eleventh crypto for market cap.

And just like the Lightning Network for Bitcoin, that in this first part of 2019 is recording a huge success, with the community increasingly interested in its development and active for its diffusion, the second layer of Tron has been called Sun Network, recalling on the one hand the surname of the CEO but also of a weather phenomenon (Lightning; Sun).

It is not yet possible to know the details of this new phase of development, but what is clear is that Sun Network will be a scaling solution to increase the use of dApps up to hundreds of millions.
