LINE Corporation has announced the launch of the BITBOX Rewards Festival, a promotional event that rewards user participation in the exchange.

Thanks to this promotion, users can receive prizes in LINK (LN), the cryptocurrency of the LINE Token Economy.

To obtain these prizes it will be necessary to participate in the referral program or pay the trading fees on BITBOX with the LINK tokens.

In fact, all BITBOX users will receive a referral code that can be used to invite other users to open new accounts on the exchange: if the invited people register on the website using the referral code and make a trade within 30 days, both the user who sent the invitation and the new user will receive rewards in LINK.

In addition, users who pay trading fees with LINK tokens will be rewarded with a points system. This system will create a daily ranking and will use LINK to daily reward users who rank first.

LINK is the crypto asset used within the LINE ecosystem, developed by LINE Corporation from the LINE messaging app, which is very popular in Japan, South Korea and East Asia.

This is a digital token issued by Singapore-based LINE Tech Plus.

A total of 1 billion LN tokens have been created, of which 800 million are for reward programs, while the remaining 200 million are still held by LINE Tech Plus and will be gradually introduced into the market as the entire LINE ecosystem develops.

These tokens will also be used to pay for music, videos and webtoons, or to purchase products and services, to issue discounts and refunds within in-app payment systems, but also in trading, to pay fees and for discounts on exchange rates.

BITBOX is a crypto-to-crypto exchange that does not accept fiat currencies, active since July 2018, available worldwide except for Japan and the United States.
