Lumi Wallet adds an EOS exchange functionality

The Lumi Wallet app has announced that it has integrated an exchange functionality with EOS-based cryptocurrencies and tokens.

The exchange is based on Changelly and allows users to easily trade EOS with over 1,200 cryptocurrencies listed on Lumi.

Eric Benz, CEO of Changelly, said:

“Lumi is one of our prominent wallet partners and we’re excited to provide the opportunity to seamlessly swap EOS as well as other digital assets for their users. We believe that these steps, even the smallest ones, inevitably lead to easier use for wider audiences and eventually bring us closer to mass crypto adoption”.

In April, Lumi began a full EOS adoption process, starting with the announcement that they would support this blockchain, and since then, they have come a long way. The wallet now allows users to receive, store and transfer EOS.

In June they celebrated their previous update by giving away 1,000 free EOS accounts and testing their ability to support on-chain transactions. The test was passed without any problems, to the extent that the team is now ready for the last step for the full adoption of EOS.

The upcoming steps, following the just-announced crypto-to-crypto trading, will involve adding the fiat-to-crypto feature and launching support for EOS dApps.

In addition, plans include the integration of voting functions directly into the wallet, as shown in the 2019 roadmap.

This includes not only the development plans for the stand-alone wallet but also for the web wallet and Lumi Collect, the wallet that allows the preservation of non-fungible ERC721 tokens for collectors and digital games.

The goal is to make these tools increasingly usable for all members of the community, present and future. In this regard, they are also localising all Lumi products for various countries, so that each individual user, regardless of location or language, is able to comfortably use these wallets.

Lumi will continue its practice of sharing free EOS accounts with its most loyal users: to check the rules and conditions of the next monthly issues please follow the official Twitter profile, or download the app.
