Thanks to this partnership, it will be possible to make deposits on the Fanduel platform with both BTC and BCH and then bet with the relevant cryptocurrencies, as also stated by Fanduel’s CCO, Sonny Singh:
“NFL Football is one of the most popular sporting events to watch and the start of the football season makes it a perfect time to introduce Bitcoin to these fans. We wanted to have the option in place for Bitcoin users to deposit cryptocurrency into their Fanduel accounts and take advantage of the daily fantasy sports games.”
The fantasy sports market reaches about $8 billion a year with a growth of 10% per year; in recent months Fanduel has exceeded 6 million registered users, which means that it is a company with significant numbers in this sector.
Bitcoin.com recently also launched its own crypto exchange that will allow the trading of SLP tokens (Simple Ledger Protocol), in addition to the sale of the most important cryptocurrencies on the market including bitcoin, bitcoin cash, litecoin and many others.
