The TRON Foundation has announced a new incentive plan for the distribution of TRX tokens to its Super Representatives (SR).
This plan was launched following the adoption of proposals #22 and #27, which change the system of bonuses and rewards.
Proposal #22, which came into force on October 31st, introduces a mechanism for rewarding decentralised voting.
The total votes of the TRON network have gone from less than 9 billion to 22 billion and the new proposal aims to stimulate further growth.
Proposal #27 changes the SR reward for each SR block to 16 TRX, and the reward for staking blocks for the first 127 SRs and partner blocks to 160 TRX, ten times the previous rewards.
The goal is to achieve greater involvement of users in the TRON ecosystem, involving more people in staking and making the network safer and more efficient.
In addition, it has decided to donate a total of 50 million TRX to SRs by November 30th, 2019, in proportion to the percentage of blocks generated.
SRs will be required to submit a specific request via a dedicated online form, specifying the team information and contribution they have given to the community.
SR requests will be verified one by one, and once distributed, results will be announced on TRON’s official social accounts.
The decision to distribute 50 million TRX to SRs is both a way of thanking them and an attempt to adjust the governance of the decentralised network for the future.
In fact, the foundation has also announced that it welcomes the participation of other members of the community in the group of Super Representatives, and wants to give “considerable rewards” to any person or team that contributes to the development of TRON. This will make the ecosystem more decentralised, democratic and prosperous.
