A short while ago, news was published that Astra, a decentralised social media company dedicated to the tourism sector, has entered into a partnership with TRON with the aim of using the blockchain for its project.

Astra is a decentralised platform with reviews and recommendations about places and locations that have been visited. Reviews are rewarded in tokens and thus the user is encouraged to contribute to the growth of the network.
With this new partnership, the Astra project is looking to create a new dApp based on the TRON (TRX) blockchain to increase its reach, given that TRON addresses are now over 4 million.
Tourism changes with Travala
Another interesting project related to tourism and based on blockchain is undoubtedly Travala which, with its system of token owners, offers travellers a discount that in some cases reaches up to 40%.Â
Travala is a platform where it is possible to book flights and hotels using crypto as a payment method: a sort of decentralised booking platform.
So, the war on the traditional travel system is open and by allowing users to pay with different cryptocurrencies, Travala offers a lot of freedom.
TRON and Astra go hand in hand
In any case, the partnership with Astra will be a great opportunity for the TRON blockchain that is continuing to support more and more projects: think, for example, of what happened almost a year ago with the BitTorrent token (BTT), or the incentive plan of 50 million TRON (TRX) or even the recent partnership with the Poloniex exchange, now also competing to become a Super Representative (SR) of the TRON blockchain, as announced today on Twitter.
This will allow Poloniex, as explained in the tweet, to attract more TRON users to the exchange.
