Italy: the supermarket where you pay in bitcoin

In Italy, there is a supermarket where it is possible to pay for shopping in bitcoin. It is the Eredi Marchesi Supermarket in Nova Milanese, Lombardy, which has decided to accept bitcoin payments thanks to a partnership with inbitcoin and bmanity.it. 

This may be the first supermarket in Italy to accept bitcoin payments. The supermarket is managed by 3 forward-thinking brothers with an innovative vision for the future of payments. 

The family business was actually founded 55 years ago, in 1964, as the workshop of Enrico Marchesi and his wife Rita. Over time, the business has been renovated many times, both structurally and commercially, investing to meet the needs of emerging markets. In 2019, his children, Luca, Paolo and Daniela, took over and decided to open up to the market of cryptocurrency holders as well. 

How to accept bitcoin payments in Italy
