Blue Bite, the leader in NFC (Near Field Communication) products, announced today that it has partnered with VeChain to combine the power of blockchain and offer new custom use cases for consumers.

According to reports, the American platform Blue Bite, famous for its NFC-enabled products on tens of millions of products for leading brands around the world, including Adidas, Samsung, BVLGARI, Google, Ford and many others, is ready to embrace the security of an immutable ledger, through VeChain.

NFC products already use a technology that can connect two different devices, such as a jacket, jewel or work of art with a phone, turning everyday physical things into a digital platform.

In this regard, Mikhail Damiani, CEO and co-founder of Blue Bite, said:

“We’ve always had a singular focus on delivering the most engaging consumer experiences through our platform, but we know that such a big task is impossible to accomplish alone. We’ve strategically created a robust open framework that enables us to integrate with industry leaders like Vechain, allowing us to focus on what we do best, while offering our customers a complete end-to-end solution.”

The idea would be to integrate VeChain’s technology on Blue Bite products to combine the immutability of a public ledger on Blue Bite’s NFC-enabled consumer-to-brand experiences.

Not only that, to provide a more concrete picture, Blue Bite also mentions its already active collaboration with The Fine Art Ledger for the delivery of authentic art certificates to artists, collectors, galleries and art fairs through NFC tags installed directly on the frame of the artwork.

In this sense, by touching the frame of the works of art, art owners can easily record their works on The Fine Art Ledger, keeping a blockchain authenticated digital catalogue for their works and general information. In addition, it is also possible to generate certificates of authenticity.

VeChain BaaS in continuous expansion

This particular historical moment is seeing the 28th crypto per market cap (VET) expand beyond China thanks to the continued global adoption of VeChain’s Blockchain-as-a-Service, VeChain Thor.

In fact, in addition to the latest implementation of VeChain for the traceability of Yunnan Pu’er tea, an initiative that has caught the attention of the Chinese central government by becoming one of the first platforms indexed in the national system of traceability of important products, the implementation of VeChain is also expanding abroad.

Indeed, VeChain Thor has recently also been used to launch a new gaming app, The Way of the Tiger: Arena of Death, created directly by Fabled Lands, Eidos and Microsoft.
