A few hours ago, Block.one, the company behind the EOS blockchain, announced that it had hired a new CEO for the social network Voice. Salah Zalatimo will take over on January 20th.

The new CEO to be appointed is none other than the former CDO of Forbes. Zalatimo joined the Forbes team in 2015 and revolutionized the digital aspect of the newspaper, integrating artificial intelligence aspects and bringing the website into the top 100 most visited sites in the world.
Brendan Blumer, CEO of Block.one, praised the unique skills of the new CEO of Voice:

His experience in creating state-of-the-art content monetization and publishing tools makes him uniquely qualified to lead Voice. The new CEO of the social network Voice is equally optimistic and has stressed the importance of blockchain technology:

This is certainly incredible news coming shortly after the start of the testing phase of Voice’s new decentralized platform, now under everyone’s radar. Even Vitalik Buterin and Changpeng Zhao are curious about Voice, to understand how it could solve the problem of decentralized content and account identity management.
