Amelia Tomasicchio honoured by Crypto Chain University

Crypto Chain University, an institute founded in 2010 dedicated to research in the world of blockchain and decentralized technologies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, announced today that it has awarded our director and CEO Amelia Tomasicchio with the Chevalier of the ‘Ordre des Arts et Technologies’ award, in particular for her work with The Cryptonomist (based in Switzerland), but also for her involvement in the journalistic sector since 2014.

Crypto Chain University founder Herbert Sim, also known as The Bitcoin Man, said:

“We are glad to award Amelia Tomasicchio to join the exclusive Order’s ranks as Chevalier, as she has been actively championing technological arts and providing educational value across Europe, from Switzerland through ‘The Cryptonomist’ publication. The Institute constantly explores on collaboration and partnerships opportunities with to include of courses or at the very least, knowledge of ‘blockchain technologies’ and ‘cryptocurrencies’ into other universities’ curriculum, to educate and equip students with the knowledge of this disruptive technology, that will be eventually and indefinitely be mass-adopted across industries.”

Amelia Tomasicchio, upon learning of the recognition, said: 

“I am humbled to join the Order in propagating the fields of technological arts of Blockchain, as well as for the University, across Europe, from Switzerland. In line with the Institute’s vision, the knowledge and adoption of blockchain technology is key towards the entire region’s technological advancement and growth”.

As expert in digital marketing, Amelia began working in the fintech sector in 2014 after writing her thesis on Bitcoin technology. Previously author for several international crypto-related magazines and CMO at Eidoo. She is now the co-founder and editor-in-chief of The Cryptonomist, and also PR manager for the Italian market at Bitget. She is also a marketing teacher at Digital Coach in Milan and she published a book about NFTs for the Italian publishing house Mondadori, while she is also helping artists and company to entering in the sector. As advisor, Amelia is also involved in metaverse-related project such as The Nemesis and OVER.
