In the last 24 hours, the EOS blockchain has set a new record in terms of the number of transactions on the blockchain, exceeding 100 million, without affecting the full capacity of the flow rate and therefore holding up to the considerable volume of operations.
As can be seen from the relative data, the figures speak for themselves: with this record EOS takes the lead, with just under 103 million, followed by Stellar (XLM), with 3 million, in third place KIN, followed by IOST and then TRON (TRX) which does not reach the million.
This is a very significant result, but who is generating all this traffic on the EOS blockchain?
Even if we don’t have certain and precise data, we can still examine the data related to dApps (Decentralized Applications) which are active on the EOS blockchain and examine the details to understand their significance.
The results are really interesting because in the last 24 hours, 3 tokens, with as many smart contracts, have executed more than 53 million transactions.
In third place, there is the MICH token, which operates in the charity sector, with 380 thousand transactions, in second place there is the POW token which simulates the Proof of Work on the EOS blockchain and which has generated slightly less than 3 million transactions.
In first place, there is the notorious EIDOS token, with 50 million transactions. On Twitter, the project has announced improvements to its smart contract to prevent similar problems from happening again in the future.
Some time ago, this dApp caused the EOS blockchain some problems because of the large number of transactions involved.
However, the record reached today by the EOS blockchain exceeds by 8 times the total number of transactions of all the blockchains put together, which barely reach 13 million.
