As of yesterday, the main menu of our online magazine The Cryptonomist includes the new “DeFi Charts” section, which features useful information and graphics related to the most popular decentralized finance applications.
Besides the news and interviews from the world of decentralized finance that can be found in the “DeFi” section which was launched a few months ago, henceforth the magazine features all the information about projects in the sector, such as Maker DAO, Aave, Compound, Synthetix and many others.
Since the end of 2019, this sector is attracting many curious people and investors, reaching the figure of 2,972,788.66 ETH locked (this info can also be found in the DeFi Charts section).
By clicking on the 6 coloured sections it is possible to find all the projects corresponding to the selected sector, i.e. the apps for Analytics, Asset Management, DEX, Derivatives, Insurance and other tools.
The list below shows the first 24 projects by importance, listed by the amount of locked ETH. Currently, the top project is Maker with a dominance of more than 53%.
By clicking on the various projects in the list it is possible to find the charts of the projects and their value, as well as a description of the company and historical statistics, allowing to retrieve present but also past data in order to understand the historical figures.

In addition, to simplify the user experience and have everything in the same place, at the top right of the page there is the “Buy Token” button that redirects users directly to Bitfinex to start trading.Â
