Adam Back’s debut on Twitter continues, this time picking on Cardano, Vitalik Buterin and Justin Sun.
The well-known Bitcoin maximalist, as well as co-founder and CEO of Blockstream, has already started posting disconcerting messages on Twitter a few weeks ago, comparing Ethereum, EOS and Ripple to scams like OneCoin and BitConnect.
This time it all starts from a CardanoBot tweet, to which Back answered saying that Proof-of-Work (PoW) is superior to Proof-of-Stake (PoS), and that PoS has already been broken several times in a short time.
Don’t worry I’ve a buddy who understand it better than the ghost Satoshi @IOHK_Charles !
And you know what ? PoS is working soooo much better than PoW. With soooo many more things to come. How about that ? https://t.co/olFZEPupr8

The apple of discord was the alleged superiority of PoW or PoS, but the discussion quickly degenerated into personal attacks, especially when Back questioned Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin and TRON founder Justin Sun.
Adam Back’s opinion on Cardano
In particular, referring to the founder of Cardano Charles Hoskinson, Adam Back stated that he believes Charles is more capable of understanding the crypto world than Buterin and Sun.
Back called Buterin “a bit of a word salad smart bits & bytes”, and not a salesman of technological knowledge.
Then he called Sun “a better marketer” than Buterin, although not able to understand the technology.
Regardless of whether Back’s statements may be true, or not, it is at least curious that within a discussion about Cardano he brings up other people in a totally irrelevant way with respect to the discussion, only to make accusations of incompetence.
Moreover, the success already accumulated in the course of time by Ethereum as a platform widely used in the crypto field, as opposed to the still much lower use of Cardano, could constitute an easy objection to the accusations of Back.
Although Ethereum has existed for more time, it is not at all certain that Cardano is still able to obtain comparable results. Moreover, Ethereum is still based on that PoW that Back prefers, compared to the PoS on which Cardano is based.
After these new comments, Back has tweeted about the alleged superiority of PoW on PoS, while neither Vitalik Buterin, nor Justin Sun, nor Charles Hoskinson, have rightly intervened in the previous discussion in which they were accused of incompetence.
