John McAfee’s wife, Janice, has raised doubts about her husband’s suicide death in prison.
In fact, from the first moment, doubts were raised about the way in which his death occurred, so the perplexities of his wife are not the classic outburst of those who lose a loved one by suicide and remain incredulous in front of the drama.
In particular, Janice claims that the handwriting of the note McAfee left before committing suicide is suspicious, so much so that she doubts its authenticity.
She further states:
“It reads more like someone trying to imitate John’s style of tweeting. And if this note was found in his pocket where are the markings of the note being folded into his pocket?”
The handwriting is suspect & I doubt the authenticity of the note. It reads more like someone trying to imitate John’s style of tweeting. And if this note was found in his pocket where are the markings of the note being folded into his pocket? #NotASuicideNote #JustForJohnMcAfee

She also posted a photograph of the suicide note found in her husband’s pocket, in which in fact there are no signs of folding. Moreover, according to Janice, this note does not sound at all like someone who has lost all hope and is thinking of taking his own life, but more like one of John’s classic tweets.
Doubts about John McAfee’s suicide
However, even before the publication of the photo of this note, there were doubts about McAfee’s suicide.
First of all, a few years ago he himself said that if he was found dead from a hypothetical suicide, it would be a set-up because he would never commit suicide. Although this cannot constitute proof, it is curious how in the end it seems to have turned out this way.
Moreover, what really doesn’t add up is that McAfee was held prisoner in Spain, and had repeatedly requested extradition to his home country, the USA, without obtaining it. Well, on the very day of his alleged suicide, it became known that he had finally obtained it.
It is really difficult to understand how he could have decided to commit suicide on the very day he learned that he had finally obtained the extradition he had been asking for so long. Indeed, this circumstance feeds the doubt that his extradition might actually have been unwelcome by someone.
John McAfee was scheduled to be interrogated in the US both for his alleged tax evasion, but also for allegedly illegally promoting some crypto projects via his Twitter profile.
However, since the suicide took place in a Spanish prison, it will be difficult for the US authorities to investigate this matter.
