Binance main sponsor of Lazio

Binance has announced a multi-year partnership with the Italian football club Lazio. It will become the club’s main jersey sponsor to promote the launch of the Binance Fan Token Platform.

SS Lazio and new interactivity with Binance

The new platform is available to the public starting today, Wednesday 13 October 2021, with the LAZIO Fan Token issued through Binance Launchpad, aiming to take the team’s brand to the next level. The aim is to create a more meaningful engagement experience for the fans of the club, through unique rewards based on engagement, interactivity and gamification

The Lazio Fan Token (LAZIO) is the team’s official utility token, providing fans with a way to interact with the team. It will be available to Binance users via the Launchpad, and then on Spot, with credit card and P2P purchases.

Binance Fan Token is a type of utility token that serves to power the fan experience and connect teams and brands with their fans around the world. Holders of these tokens will be able to unlock unique “fan moments” through exclusive rewards such as one-off experiences, limited edition NFTs, exclusive voting rights on certain club decisions reserved for fans, and collectible badges.

SS Lazio, commonly known as Lazio, is one of Italy’s premier football clubs, founded in 1900 in Rome, Italy, and has collected many prestigious titles including two Scudettos, seven Italian Cups (Coppa Italia), three Italian Super Cups, a UEFA’s Cup Winners’ Cup and a UEFA Super Cup.

It currently boasts more than 1.5 million fans in Italy and a digital fanbase that exceeds 2.5 million followers on its social networks.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito said:

“Our agreement with Binance will allow us to extend our digital presence and connect with our fans and followers like never before.
