John McAfee’s death, investigation not concluded

Six months have now passed since John McAfee’s death, but his end remains far from clear.

His wife Janice McAfee does not believe the official reconstruction that speaks of suicide, which occurred in the Barcelona prison last June 23.

But the truth is that the investigation is still ongoing.

The investigation on the death of John McAfee

The latest updates come as always from his wife Janice that on the occasion of his birthday, has written a letter to thank for the good wishes received.

In the text, we read that the investigation is proceeding at a very slow pace. Until the investigations are completed, Janice will not be able to have John’s remains back to give him a burial. In this regard, she adds:

“Obviously the dragging out of the investigation is meant to keep us from finding out what happened to John and I also believe it’s meant to keep me here in Spain. Things have been pretty tense for the past few months Apparently I am a loose end that needs tying up.”

Reading these words, it almost sounds like Janice is in danger, but there are no other details to understand what is going on.

The book about John McAfee (and the movie)

In the meantime, there is less and less time to publish the book “No Domain: The John McAfee Tapes” by Mark Eglinton. The text will soon be turned into a movie as well.

The book will be published next January 4. The contents are the result of an unfiltered account of John McAfee himself, conversations from 2019.

The back cover features a quote from Stephen Bannon (former White House chief strategist in Donald Trump’s time), who says of McAfee:

“Buy this book, read this book, and understand – could anything, even John McAfee, kill John McAfee?”

Probably from the words of the book shines more the will to live than the desperation of a man pursued by law enforcement.

Janice herself does not believe in suicide because, in his life, John was used to destroying everything and starting again.

We just have to wait for the truth that will emerge from the investigation, even if the feeling is that it will be very different from what his wife and anyone who knew John McAfee well will ever believe.
