Binance in partnership with Khaby Lame, the star of TikTok

Binance has partnered with Khaby Lame, the Italian-Senegalese star of TikTok, to become the brand ambassador. The goal of the partnership is to increase awareness and adoption of Web3.   

Binance: Khaby Lame as brand ambassador

The most popular crypto-exchange Binance chooses its new brand ambassador: Khaby Lame, the Italian-Senegalese star who on TikTok has taken the web by storm with his “life hack” videos in which he tackles overly complicated scenarios. 

Currently, Lame is the most followed creator on TikTok, with more than 142 million followers on the platform and 78 million followers on Instagram.

Specifically, here are the specific points Binance is targeting with this new collaboration:

“Meet our new brand ambassador @KhabyLame, the most followed creator on TikTok. Through this partnership we will:

  • Drive crypto education
  • Launch exclusive Khaby Lame NFT collections
  • Debunk crypto & Web3 myths
  • Grow the industry & #Binance ecosystem

Binance and Khaby Lame to increase awareness and adoption of Web3

Thanks to the new collaboration, Binance wants to increase the reach of its ecosystem

Broadly speaking, Khaby Lame has become Binance’s influencer of choice to increase Web3 awareness and adoption through its social channels, but also through the launch of exclusive Khaby Lame NFT collections. 

In this regard, Lame stated:

“I consider my followers as my family, and I am always looking for new challenges and interesting content to share with them. I’ve been curious about Web3 for some time, and jumped at the chance to partner with a leader like Binance because it aligns perfectly with what I usually do: make complex stuff easy and fun for everyone!”

James Rothwell, Binance Global Vice President of Marketing also wanted to comment on this:

“Khaby has become a cultural icon and one of the most entertaining creators globally. We love his charm and sense of humor, and think it will bring relevance and relatability as we scale Web3 adoption. With so much nuance around Web3 and misinformation in the world, it was a perfect match to have Khaby on board to help debunk some of the myths around this space”.

The partnership with Cristiano Ronaldo

Recently, Binance also announced its exclusive, multi-year partnership with Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the greatest soccer players ever. 

Again, the goal of the blockchain ecosystem and global infrastructure provider for crypto is to activate a global campaign to introduce Web3 to the footballer’s fans, bringing them closer to the NFT industry in particular. 

The agreement includes the creation of a series of NFT collections on Ronaldo that will be offered for sale exclusively on Binance NFT.
