AURORA is here: the first International Study Center to entrust its research to the digital footprint of Blockchain

A new study center will be unveiled in September, which with a strong Think Tank soul will partly conduct policy-oriented research activities to develop scenarios, proposals, and hypothetical courses of action for submission to the regulator and stakeholders. These will provide elements for the adoption of strategic choices and new factors for the initiation of scientific and social investigations of global interest.

All reports and papers, the result of AURORA’s studies and research, will be notarized on Blockchain thanks to the bernstein.io service, a company operating in Strasbourg, France, and a partner of the Study Center. Bernstein’s mission is precisely to protect the authorship of works, offering innovators and creatives the peace of mind of knowing that their rights are easy to claim and defend and that their inventions are securely stored.

AURORA will be led by Caterina Ferrara, Scientific Director of the Study Center, a well-known Blockchain and AI professional and expert in digital health.

Director Ferrara, with a background as a research scientist, will govern the Think Tank to give voice to new theories about: brain-to-brain communication, neurodegenerative and neurological diseases, inclusion and conflict resolution, the ability to innovate Science and become science entrepreneurs.

The AURORA Think Tank boasts important names on its advisory board, such as Alessandra Spada, co-founder and CTO of Catchy and board member of the LUISS Data Lab, and Nicola Cucari, an expert in start-ups, innovation and enterprise and professor at La Sapienza University. The Center’s researchers, on the other hand, include the names of lawyer Laura Cappello and Virginia Mijes Martin, who will investigate the extremely challenging and recent topics of bioethics, neuroethics and algorethics, and the topic of diversity, respectively.

The three pillars on which AURORA is based are fields of crucial importance in our rapidly changing society, and the goal is to create constructive dialogue and knowledge sharing among participants and citizens.

Neuroscience is opening new horizons in understanding how the human brain works and the mechanisms underlying potential brain-to-brain communication. The goal is to explore how neuroscientific discoveries can be applied to address challenges such as neurodegenerative and neurological diseases to improve people’s quality of life.

Diversity is precisely a key factor in scientific and technological progress. It is critical to ensure that innovations are developed with diverse perspectives, experiences, and expertise in mind. The Think Tank will focus on how to promote inclusion and diversity in science and technology, encouraging a collaborative environment that can generate innovative and sustainable solutions.

Scientific innovation, on the other hand, is the engine of progress and advancement of society. In the Think Tank, the latest trends and practices in scientific innovation will be explored, with a focus on entrepreneurship. Success stories of scientific entrepreneurs who have translated their discoveries into business solutions and positive impacts in society will be presented. This will be a unique opportunity to learn from experts in the field and to network for future collaboration. The Think Tank represents an extraordinary opportunity to connect with key players and best thinkers internationally. Without a doubt, AURORA’s core values are curiosity, integrity, and inclusion.
