Bitget Wallet, formerly BitKeep, announced the expansion of fiat currencies support to EUR, RUB and JPY, of its “Quick Buy” service.

Bitget Wallet: crypto wallet adds support for EUR, RUB and JPY fiat currencies

Bitget Wallet, formerly known as BitKeep, has added support for EUR, RUB and JPY fiat currencies, expanding its “Quick Buy” service.

This is an “enhancement” of the crypto-wallet’s Over-The-Counter (or OTC) functionality in order to provide users with additional access options.

In this way, in fact, Bitget Wallet wants to reduce the entry barriers to Web3, thus involving the three new fiat currencies.

The integration is part of the Quick Buy service, a solution for users who want to buy and sell crypto with ease.

Not only that, Quick Buy collaborates with OTC service providers, integrating different payment systems that meet the diverse needs of users globally.

Among Quick Buy’s supported payment channels are MoonPay, Alchemy Pay, Simplex, FaTPay, Banxa, and Transak. While the payment methods are Visa, PayPal, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

The current 3 new fiat currencies join the existing ones such as USD, KRW, VND, THB and others.

Bitget Wallet: the expansion of Quick Buy for crypto buying and selling

Bitget Wallet’s Quick Buy service makes available for crypto buying and selling well over 10 blockchain networks, plus 50 varieties of tokens including USDT, USDC, ETH, BTC and others.

In this regard, Gracy Chen, managing director of Bitget, said:

“Quick Buy facilitates seamless crypto purchasing for users worldwide, removing the barriers of fiat-to-crypto transactions. We look forward to empowering users to explore the Web3 space.

The launch of Quick Buy underscores our commitment to simplifying access to cryptocurrencies and facilitating crypto mainstream adoption. With its range of innovative features, Bitget is bringing crypto investing to the fingertips of users globally.”

Bitget Wallet CEO Karry, on the other hand, spoke on crypto-trading as follows:

“The core value proposition of this industry primarily revolves around asset management and trading.

We position ourselves as a trading wallet because offering asset trading services and serving as the connecting vector for asset circulation creates value by providing liquidity, facilitating price discovery, and enhancing asset availability.

Focusing on trading also allows us to reach a broader user base and capture various forms of value generated within trading activities. In the future, decentralized trading will emerge as the mainstream option, with payments being a critical application scenario for wallets.”

The popular crypto-exchange’s August report

The popular copy-trading crypto-exchange, Bitget, recently released its August 2023 report, describing its initiatives for the month, updates, partnerships, and new products.

Standing out among it all are the Blockchain4Youth Builders program and updated KYC requirements.

And indeed, the new corporate social responsibility (CSR) project, Blockchain4Youth, aims to create a blockchain-based future, thereby inspiring young people to adopt Web3 and crypto tools.

That educational project saw the launch of the Builders Program in August, which aims to recruit more than 100 young aspiring talents in the field of crypto, blockchain and Web3 technologies.

At the same time, Bitget also instituted updated mandatory Know Your Customer – or KYC – requirements, which then went into effect this September. The goal is to strengthen the user identification process so that trading is a secure environment.
