Bitfinex has begun its Financial Freedom Tour, starting in Turkey. The crypto-exchange will visit 21 cities across the country to educate community groups about Bitcoin and blockchain and how they can ensure financial freedom.

The renowned crypto-exchange Bitfinex has started its Bitfinex Finance Freedom Tour from 25 September, starting in Gaziantep, in the southeastern Anatolia region of Turkey.
Basically, this is a tour that aims to spread the “word,” namely Bitcoin, blockchain and how they guarantee financial freedom.
Hence, Bitfinex Financial Freedom begins in Turkey, with plans for a seven-month tour of 21 cities in the country, twenty-one as the 21 million BTC that can be mined on Bitcoin’s blockchain.
After Gaziantep, Bitfinex Financial Freedom will move on to Şanlıurfa, Mardin and Diyarbakır, some of the most important and historic cities in the region.
Bitfinex: crypto-exchange hits the road to raise awareness of Bitcoin and financial freedom
On its official blog, Bitfinex explains that the goal of the tour is to introduce Bitcoin and the blockchain to new communities that have never encountered cryptocurrencies.
Not only that, the crypto-exchange will seek to connect with other Bitcoin evangelists to help spread more awareness of Bitcoin as a non-inflationary asset.
Specifically, Bitfinex aims to provide new communities with information on the history of Bitcoin, investor psychology, the future of cryptocurrencies, and financial freedom.
In this regard, Paolo Ardoino, CTO of Bitfinex, said:
“Bitfinex’s Financial Freedom Tour in Türkiye is a testament to our commitment to educating investors in one of our most important markets, and where the potential for greater adoption is tremendous.”
A big supporter of Bitcoin
Bitfinex has always shown itself to be one of the first crypto-exchange’s longtime supporters of Bitcoin, and believes the key to wider adoption of Bitcoin is education.
Founded in 2012, Bitfinex is now one of the top 10 crypto-exchanges and released its Freedom Manifesto in 2022 to express its commitment to the peer-to-peer and decentralized technologies that Bitcoin embodies.
The announcement of the Bitfinex Freedom Manifesto had been made at the Adopting Bitcoin conference in El Salvador.
Not only that, earlier this month, Bitfinex also announced its participation in the second anniversary of “Bitcoin Day” in El Salvador. The country had made BTC legal tender on 7 September 2021.
