Wirex has announced the winners of the Rising Women in Crypto Power List 2023.

Wirex, a digital payment platform, has announced the winners of Rising Women in Crypto Power 2023, in collaboration with the crypto media TheCryptonomist. 

Wirex and crypto women: who are the winners of the 2023 list

Wirex has announced the industry women who have won the Rising Women in Crypto Power List 2023. In collaboration with TheCryptonomist, the digital payments platform initiative wanted to celebrate the significant contributions that these crypto women make to the industry.

And indeed, behind the choice, there was a jury with experts such as the co-founder and director of TheCryptonomist, Amelia Tomasicchio, together with Ani Petrova, Diana Carrasco-Vime, Eleonora Rocca, George Coxon, and Georgia Hanias.

Here are the names of the winners:

  • Amna Usman Chaudhry, responsible for the MENA region of the Climate Chain Coalition;
  • Audrey Akwenye, co-founder of Black@;
  • Belinda Lim, SG partnership manager at The Sandbox;
  • Bridget Greenwood, Founder of The Bigger Pie, Co-founder of 200Bn Club;
  • Caterina Ferrara, senior consultant and analyst of Blockchain at AlmavivA;
  • Charmaine Short, Operational Testing Manager at Fnality International;
  • Lianna Adams, Founder of Impactful Artistry, advocate for Web3;
  • Lori Souza, co-founder and COO of MetaFusion;
  • Priya Guliani, CEO of Earth.ID;
  • Yaliwe Soko, President of the United Africa Blockchain Association. 

Wirex and crypto women: the two special awards for outstanding results achieved

The Rising Women in Crypto Power List 2023 is part of Wirex’s campaign called Women in Crypto.

In addition to the winners, therefore, the company also wanted to offer two special prizes for women in the industry who have achieved remarkable results. 

This is Natalia Latka, Regulatory Compliance Consultant for Cryptography at Merkle Science, who has been awarded “Compliance Leader of the Year”.

Even Randi Zuckerberg, CEO and founder of HUG, has received another special award as Social Media Influencer of the Year. 

In this regard, Pavel Matveev, CEO and co-founder of Wirex, commented as follows:

“On behalf of Wirex, sincere congratulations to all the winners! Your achievements are pushing the boundaries of innovation in the crypto space and we are proud to recognize your significant contributions.”

The fourth year of the campaign

The Women in Crypto campaign by Wirex is celebrating its fourth year this year, while the Rising Women in Crypto Power List initiative has been around for 3 years.

And indeed, as anticipated at the beginning of October, Wirex continues with this initiative not only to recognize the achievements of women leaders, but also to inspire young generations from all over the world to consider the crypto sector as an incredible career path.

In general, Wirex seems to have received from 2020 to date, over 800 applications for the Power List, from more than 50 countries, highlighting the global impact that the initiative is having. 

The people who applied presented themselves with criteria of judgment based on results, potential, influence, ambition, leadership skills, and innovation.
