ANGI celebrates Cryptonomist: all the details about the award won
As previously announced, we recently had the honor of announcing our victory for the 2023 ANGI National Award in the Blockchain and Digital Industry category, which took place on December 6th in Rome.
For the occasion, the award was received by the CEO and co-founder of Cryptonomist, Amelia Tomasicchio, who, regarding the win, declared the following:
“We are happy to have contributed to innovating this sector and to be recognized as pioneers to the point of receiving this award. Cryptonomist was in fact the first Italian newspaper to talk about crypto and is still present after five years to try to clarify Bitcoin, blockchain, and everything that follows.”
We see that the National Association of Young Innovators (ANGI) represents the first national non-profit organization completely dedicated to innovation in all its forms.
Thanks to the support of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the European Parliament, the European Commission, and the fundamental contribution of influential figures in civil society and the ruling class, the Association has established solid foundations to pursue its mission.
The goal is to position ourselves as a reference point for innovation in Italy and in the world, promoting and developing progress in all its forms.
ANGI is committed to promoting culture, education, and new technologies, creating cross-sector synergies between individuals, schools, universities, companies, trade associations, and national and international institutions.
Cryptonomist is therefore proud to be recognized and awarded within this initiative that promotes innovation and progress.
The schedule of the day for the ANGI national award
During the award ceremony for the national ANGI prize, after a warm welcome, there was an introduction to the proceedings and the Institutional Opening with greetings from ANGI.
Throughout the day there have been important and prominent guests in the sector. Specifically, in this first phase we had the honor of having moderators of the caliber of Paolo Petrecca, Director of RaiNews2, and Ylenia Totino, TV Presenter and Digital Influencer.
Subsequently, other interventions followed, including Lorenzo Tagliavanti, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Rome; Gabriele Ferrieri, President of ANGI, National Association of Young Innovators; Roberto Gualtieri, Mayor of Rome Capital.
Once again, we had the honor of the presence of Maria Condemi, General Director of Technological Innovation, Instrumental Resources, and Communication; Maurizio Montemagno, General Director of the Directorate for Industrial Policy, Innovation, and SMEs of the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy.
In addition, also Alessandro Morelli, Undersecretary to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers with responsibility for coordinating economic policy and programming of public investments.
After several panels and moderations on various topics, including perspectives on industrial work development and communication, the award ceremony was held where Cryptonomist also stood out.
Among the various award categories, in addition to Blockchain and Digital Industry where the Swiss publication won first prize, categories such as Energy & Environment, Smart City and new technology, Wellness & Digital Health, and many others were also awarded.
