The report revealed a $700 million increase in Solana’s Total Value Locked (TVL) from October 27 to December 19. SOL’s value also recorded a spectacular increase. As of October 31, SOL traded at $38.52. One month later, SOL had jumped by 55.2% to $59.80 by December 1. SOL remained bullish, rising by 24.3% to $74.35 as of December 18.

The sharp jump in Solana’s TVL is likely due to airdrop activity in its ecosystem since October. On December 7, Jito announced an airdrop of $225 million to Solana (SOL) users. 

Furthermore, trading activity has risen significantly on Jupiter, a popular Solana-based DEX. Jupiter has also announced a mega token airdrop to Solana users. The news has further increased network activity on Solana, which could push SOL by 26.8% to $94.35.
