Doland Tremp (TREMP) and the political-themed meme coin on Solana

Doland Tremp (TREMP) is one of the recent political-themed meme coins, or PoliFi, developed on Solana, that is gaining popularity in the crypto community. At the time of writing, TREMP has recorded a pump of +24.6% in the last 24 hours.

Doland Tremp (TREMP): how does the political-themed meme coin on Solana work?

Apparently, the crypto market is adding a new category that focuses on political-themed meme coins, called PoliFi or political finance meme coins. On CoinGecko, this category is called PolitiFi.

Among others, there is Doland Tremp (TREMP) developed on Solana which, in the last 24 hours, has recorded a price pump of +24.6%, against the dump of -50% in the last seven days.

TREMP was coined on February 28th at an initial price of a few fractions of a cent. Since then, it has reached a maximum of $0.63, while, at the time of writing, TREMP is worth $0.26. Its total market capitalization is over $27 million.

Behind its management, there is now a woman who goes by the name B along with the entire team. B lives in the United Kingdom and works in technology marketing, and sees the battle for the value of tokens among these coins as an election of the blockchain. In this regard, B would have said:

“I think having a crypto election simultaneously with a real election is something that has never been done before in the crypto space”

Not only that, Coindesk then specified the following:

“The woman behind the successful Solana meme @dolandtremp_sol says that the token is not so much about politics as it is about fun. Reported by @thesamreynolds and @shauryamalwa”

Doland Trump on Solana and political-themed meme coins: the PoliFi category

For the Doland Tremp Team, therefore, the category of PoliFi or PolitiFi focuses everything on memes and laughter, also earning some money.

And so, in the last few weeks, just like TREMP which is developed on Solana, other new PoliFi cryptos have arrived.

Among others, there is Spoderman, a poorly drawn version of Spiderman on MS Paint that pays homage to Dolan, a bastardized version of Donald Duck with an attitude problem, complete with wrong names.

The PoliFi cohort is a reinterpretation of the original meme, but with politicians. Doland Tremp, Jeo Boden, Elizabeth Whoren: the gang is all here.

Obviously TREMP is not the only PoliFi token related to Trump. There is MAGA on Ethereum, which has a much larger market capitalization and is held in the former president’s official wallet.

In this sense, B wanted to emphasize that the Solana blockchain has no rivals for the development and support of PoliFi tokens

Even 3fn, B’s partner in the TREMP project, explains that these meme tokens use Solana for its low transaction fees, speed, and community.

Ethereum will not work due to its high fees, which have been the genesis of Solana and its competitors.

On Solana, TREMP and BODEN have been developed, and the price of SOL has risen over 70% in the last month.

The price of SOL

Solana is the underlying blockchain of other meme coins, such as Bonk (BONK). Just this week, Solana (SOL) managed to surpass Binance Coin (BNB) in terms of market capitalization.

At the time of writing, however, SOL is still below BNB, with a difference of 1 billion dollars in total market cap.

The price of SOL has gone from $109 to the current $188 during the last month of the general bull run in the crypto market. In fact, the maximum price of SOL reached in the last 30 days is $208 on March 18th.

Contrary to Bitcoin (BTC) which has surpassed its all-time price high, SOL is still not far from the $250 ATH – All Time High reached in November 2021.
