Immutable’s expansion and the entry of Disney and Google into Web3 games

The leading Web3 gaming platform, Immutable, has announced that three new upcoming games, developed by teams based in Australia and Asia, are being prepared to be built on Immutable zkEVM technology. Notably, these games have received financial backing and support from well-known backers such as Disney China, Alibaba Cloud, Google, and Square Enix.

As anticipated, recently, the leading Web3 gaming platform, Immutable, announced the commitment of three new upcoming games – GensoKishi Online, Cursed Stone, and Sailwars – in development on Immutable zkEVM. 

This scalability rollup, based on Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZK), offers full compatibility with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), tailored specifically to meet the needs of web3 game developers.

GensoKishi’s collaboration with SYMBIOGENESIS and the advent of Cursed Stone and Sailwars in the NFT Web3 world

GensoKishi Online, developed by Metap Inc. is the newest addition to Immutable zkEVM users. It is the native metaverse version of Elemental Knights Online, a highly regarded game that received the 2012 Game of the Year (Gold) award in Taiwan and has accumulated a total of 8 million downloads worldwide.

Through the use of blockchain technology, the developers of GensoKishi Online aim to establish a new economic system in their fantasy world, offering new spaces, experiences and entertainment, as well as full ownership made possible through decentralization.

Recently, GensoKishi announced a new partnership with SYMBIOGENESIS, an NFT art project developed by Square Enix, renowned for creating legendary series such as Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Star Ocean, and Dragon Quest.

Cursed Stone, a 3D web3 MMORPG in an open world, offers PvE, PvP and Siege modes, allowing players to acquire dynamic NFTs to improve and customize their characters. 

Since the community fully owns these resources, players can freely trade them, including the entire character with all related levels and items, all in a single transaction.

The game’s innovative role system ensures that each class has a specific set of roles that players can leverage to further specialize, making each NFT unique and coveted.

Sailwars: the Web3 game revolutionizing the NFT market

Sailwars, as a Web3 game, offers players the ability to convert their in-game resources, such as heroes, ships and weapons, into NFTs, which can be traded freely on an open market. 

By progressing and improving their skills, players can also obtain reward tokens for participating in battles.
