Binance employees: the 90% paid in BNB coin

Binance Coin (BNB) is the token of the Binance exchange. Among the various uses within the platform, one is for paying salaries.

In fact, Changpeng “CZ” Zhao, CEO of Binance, told TechCrunch founder Michael Arrington that 90% of the company’s employees receive the salary in BNB, on a voluntary basis. Arrington wrote on Twitter: “@cz_binance told me this week at LCX event: 90% of Binance employees choose to receive their salary in BNB token. Smart people”.

As can be seen from the price chart, BNB has a more stable and less volatile value than many other more famous cryptocurrencies.

In fact, it has some specific uses within the Binance platform that make it continuously attractive. In addition, the company buys on the market at regular intervals and destroys the BNB token to reduce the offer in order to increase the value. This means that at regular intervals there is always someone willing to buy in significant quantities.

It should not surprise so much so if BNB is considered by the same company employees a good means of payment, although it seems that Binance is more an exception than a rule in this area: there are still very few commercial activities in the context of cryptocurrencies who pay the majority of their employees in tokens.

The exchange has just announced another novelty: the Binance Academy, with the aim of educating the community of aspiring bitcoiners.

The initiative is dedicated to all those who want to deepen their knowledge of blockchain and cryptocurrencies and is aimed at an entry-level public (ie that of non-professionals).

The site presents a series of short and simple videos on various topics concerning this sector. For now, they are not yet many, but it is reasonable to expect that they will be more and more. If you want you can also send your own material by filling out a special form for sending reports.

For those wishing to know more, there is also a very detailed explanation of the service on CrowdConscious’ Medium profile.

On the Binance Academy website, a page has also appeared with a list of the professional figures currently sought by the company for this initiative, among which at the moment there is a 2D animator, a Digital Marketing expert and a Content Writer.
