John McAfee becomes a Patron advisor

John McAfee became an advisor to Patron, a Japanese blockchain-based platform that allows finding online influencers and uses a proprietary token.

The project has been around for four years and specialized in marketing strategies with social media influencers.

In July it was named by Forbes as one of the 10 blockchain companies in the world to keep an eye on.

In January 2018 Patron launched its own ICO, raising 40 million dollars. The app should be launched in February 2019, of which in the meantime a demo is already available.

It will be an interface for the distribution of live content on many social networks simultaneously, such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LINE, etc., and will allow to sell products and apply for funding through these live videos.

Patron, according to the whitepaper, will allow customers to connect with many influencers around the world through its platform. The exchange system has been tokenised thanks to blockchain technology.

This way, it will be possible to purchase spot, monthly or annual contracts with the various influencers available on the platform.

The blockchain-based platform will allow customers to interact directly with influencers, without intermediaries, using the PAT token.

John McAfee is one of the world’s leading influencers in the crypto world and is no stranger to collaborations with companies in the industry. The news was given by the Japanese site prtimes.jp, according to which McAfee is now the main advisor of the company.

The founder of Patron is Atsushi Hisatsumi, who confirmed the news on his Twitter and Linkedin profile.
