Binance: Trust Wallet adds Zcash

Trust Wallet, the official Binance wallet, recently added Zcash among the supported cryptocurrencies.

Zcash is a cryptocurrency created to protect the privacy of its users, even though much has been said about its anonymity compared to Grin or Monero.

However, Trust Wallet is focusing on privacy-focused projects as part of its mission to support major cryptocurrencies.

Trust founder Wallet Viktor Radchenko said:

“To us, privacy means having the power to make your own choices about how you represent yourself to the world,” said our Founder Viktor Radchenko. “In today’s digital society, the fundamentals of privacy are distorted. A common misconception about privacy is that it’s about having something to hide. Privacy is an inherent human right and should be maintained to preserve personal rights and dignity, which is why it is important for us to support as many privacy feature coins as possible.”

Zcash Company’s Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, Josh Swihart, added:

“The people behind the Trust Wallet are doing important work for driving the adoption of cryptocurrencies around the world,” said Josh Swihart, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at the Zcash Company. “Their commitment to offering their users choice in how much information they wish to disclose to the public is commendable. We are proud of their support of Zcash and commitment to supporting their users’ rights and security.”

To add Zcash to your wallet, you need to click on the “+” symbol at the top right and click on the scroll bar on the Zcash symbol.
