Brave browser has recorded exponential growth in the number of active monthly users of 450% compared to 2018. Brave is a browser created on the Ethereum blockchain that allows earning BAT (Basic Attention Token)Â
This means that more and more people are using Brave and last month, browser downloads from Google’s Play Store exceeded 20 million.
Even the co-founder of Everipedia revealed to have switched to this browser because it provides a higher level of privacy than traditional browsers, thanks to a native adblock active by default.
Unfortunately for the moment, the potential earnings from the Brave browser are 70 dollars per year, although, as explained by the founder of the project, this figure “may soon reach $224“.
Brave, in addition to the increase in the number of users, is enjoying great success in the crypto world and also Vitalik Buterin has praised the project.
However, this does not mean that Brave is infallible: in December 2018 the browser had problems with the reward system: in fact, one user explained that he had received donations without his knowledge, without having requested them.
The user was Tom Scott, who claims he doesn’t accept sponsorships but instead discovered from a notification that he had received donations through the Brave Browser, without having made any request.
