The TRON network is a platform that allows creating decentralised applications (dApps) related to the world of entertainment. However, use cases are not limited to entertainment only.
CIVIS Group recently announced a partnership with Coinnect to use TRON’s blockchain to certify critical business processes and activities. This Odyssey update will allow creating dApps in a more simple and secure way.
TRON, here comes Odyssey v3.6
According to the developers, upgrading to Odyssey V3.6 will make the protocol more secure and stable. Privacy, speed and ease of use will also be improved.
Security will be enhanced with new proactive measures and multi-sig compatibility.
“A lighter built-in event server and more checks have been implemented to prevent malicious data on the chain.”
More news:
- New instructions for the TRON Virtual Machine (TVM): create2, bitwise shifting and extcodehash;
- Contract deployers can clean up the ABI (Application Binary Interface), which provides more privacy;
- Optimised broadcasting for gRPC and HTTP interfaces.
The post then recalls that the TRX chain can execute tens of thousands of transactions per second (TPS). On the official website, there is an infographic showing the comparison between TRON (2000 TPS), Ethereum (25 TPS) and Bitcoin (3-6 TPS).
