Keplerk announced that from today it is possible to buy Bitcoin (BTC) in over 5200 stores in France.
By purchasing cards similar to phone top-ups, with the relevant code it will be possible to unlock funds on the user’s Keplerk wallet, almost instantly.
The denominations available will be 50, 100 and 250 euros.
This is not the first time that Kepklerk, a startup for the sale of bitcoin, has proposed such a model considering that in the past months it had already launched a similar project, but due to the time required for transactions, everything was less efficient. After several months of development, an acceptable solution was found for both the company and the end customer.
This is a great thing for both France and the company, as Keplerk’s CEO, Adil Zakhar, said:
“In France, a startup country, we are proud to be able to assert ourselves as a French success story, on a subject and in an area where the stakes go far beyond national borders. Keplerk’s mission is to democratise the use of Bitcoin. We are convinced that there is a real expectation on the part of the French on this issue and that we have the tools to satisfy it”.
The news is very interesting for the French national scene, which proves to be open to bitcoin: more than 25,000 French shops will soon begin to accept bitcoin payments.
France always seems to be one step ahead in Europe and these results are in line with the opening to cryptocurrencies and their actual use without hindering the path, but on the contrary favouring somehow their diffusion.
