After seeing the top 10 addresses of various blockchains including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and TRON (TRX), now it’s the turn of the stablecoin Tether (USDT).
As is known, the Tether stablecoin expands across multiple blockchains with a total of more than $4.5 billion in assets, of which about $2 billion on the Ethereum (ETH) blockchain.
This top 10 includes the top USDT holders on Vitalik Buterin’s blockchain.
As seen in the other top 10, most of the larger addresses belong to exchanges: in the case of Tether, in fact, in first and second place there are addresses belonging to Huobi, which has over $230 million and has a percentage of more than 11% of the supply of USDT on Ethereum.
Another exchange that boasts 2 addresses is Bitfinex, third and seventh place, which in total has just under $140 million, so just under 7% of the total supply.
In fifth place, there is the Tether Treasury address that was used to transfer funds to Bitfinex, and it currently holds just over $54 million USDT, with a percentage of 2.6% of the supply.
In sixth position, there is another exchange, Bittrex, which owns just under $44 million USDT and so just over 2% of the supply, which is almost twice as much as Poloniex, in ninth position, which boasts $24 million.
At positions 4, 8 and 10 there are 3 addresses without any information, which have $95.8 million, $28.5 million and $20.9 million respectively.
Finally, Binance has little to offer, staying out of the top 10, at position 11, with only $19 million.
