Ashton Kutcher opts for an investment in Bitcoin

It seems that the Hollywood actor Ashton Kutcher has decided to make an investment in Bitcoin, or rather in the crypto project called Lolli.

Lolli is an app that allows earning BTC by buying products online, a project that a few years ago was also joined by the well-known perfumery chain Sephora.

The app can be installed on the Chrome browser and allows customers to shop normally on e-commerce websites, turning their earnings into bitcoin prizes that are distributed to the same customers who have been shopping on the adhering websites.

Ashton Kutcher would have decided to participate with an investment in Lolli’s $3 million second Seed Round. Other investors included makeup YouTuber Michelle Phan and U2 talent manager Guy Oseary.

Phan herself said:

“The moment I learned about Lolli, I knew this was the right platform that will help make bitcoin accessible to all, and I needed to invest in it. I’m thrilled to work with Lolli to help educate and bring Bitcoin to the masses.”

This investment should help the company develop its mobile app and expand its market and partners.

Alex Adelman, CEO and co-founder of Lolli, told Cointelegraph:

“We plan to continue our mission of making bitcoin even more accessible to all through our website and extension. With the new funding, we will be accelerating the launch of our upcoming mobile app and subsequent international expansion. Expect to see some exciting new ways for people to both earn and learn about bitcoin.”

The CEO also explained that revenues for users in terms of BTC were eight times higher in 2020 than in 2019, compared to the first four months of the two years.
