Yesterday PixEOS, the platform that allows creating NFTs on the EOS blockchain, announced a partnership with MoonPay, a fiat to crypto exchange platform, with the aim of making art accessible to everyone.

What is PixEOS?
PixEOS is a platform that functions as a portal for creating artwork using NFTs (Non Fungible Tokens) on the EOS blockchain.
It’s interesting because it is not only about simple 2D drawings, but it is also possible to create 3D or animated artworks, bringing blockchain-based digital art to an entirely different level.
Furthermore, the platform acts as an art gallery where users can view the artworks and learn about the artists, who cannot be anonymous but are identified.
PixEOS is mainly aimed at the niche of users using EOS, as once an NFT is created or bought, it will be visible in an EOS account using a block explorer.
Thus PixEOS needed a way to amplify and make the project known to other communities as well.
The partnership with MoonPay
This is where MoonPay comes into play, because associating an EOS account, or creating a new one, makes it much easier for the user to browse, as MoonPay will be the gateway to both the EOS blockchain and the PixEOS gallery.
In short, users will be able to buy and bid for related artworks via MoonPay.
PixEOS is transforming the approach to art through NFTs, as explained by the CEO of MoonPay, Ivan Soto-Wright, and that’s why we decided to collaborate:
“PixEOS is transforming provenance for artists and collectors with proprietary NFTs. We are happy to be powering simple EOS purchase experiences to the PixEOS gallery and users for cryptocurrency to be easily accessible to anyone”.
This partnership makes it very easy to interact with the blockchain and the platform, continued the CEO of PixEOS, Fred Nogueira:
“The Moonpay integration is a huge milestone for our users not acquainted with crypto trading and swapping platforms to get EOS seamlessly with a credit card without leaving the gallery. MoonPay is definitely the perfect fit for our future as a compliant fiat gate.”
Surely within the art sphere, the blockchain still has a lot to prove, but it is already possible to see the first blend of digital art and physical exhibitions, as an NFT exhibition will be held in Rome in October.
