Chainlink integrated into Huobi ECO-Chain

Chainlink has announced that its oracles will be natively integrated into Huobi ECO-Chain (Heco) as the recommended oracle solution for all smart contract applications launched on this blockchain. 

This will give Heco developers integrated and direct access to Chainlink oracles.

Initially, these oracles will provide decentralized real-time price feeds on cryptocurrencies, commodities, precious metals, rates, indices and more.

Later, Verifiable Randomness Function (VRF) will also be added as a secure source of on-chain randomness. 

In addition, Chainlink will also be able to be leveraged as a generalized solution to connect to any off-chain asset, with no limits to the types of data that can be brought on-chain in this way.

Why did Huobi ECO Chain choose Chainlink?

Huobi ECO Chain (Heco) is a public blockchain based on Hybrid Proof of Stake (HPOS), compatible with Ethereum’s Virtual Machine (EVM), and provides developers with an efficient and low-cost on-chain environment to run decentralized applications and store digital assets. 

Chainlink was selected by Huobi because it is the most proven and widely used oracle network across the blockchain industry. It also offers a variety of pre-built, easy-to-integrate solutions, as well as a generalized framework for creating fully customizable networks using any number and type of nodes, data sources, aggregation methodologies, and optional add-on functionality.

Chainlink’s pricing feed data is sourced from premium off-chain aggregators to provide developers with accurate data that is inherently resistant to common data manipulation attacks, such as those recently carried out via flash loans.
