Dolce&Gabbana continues its presence in the world of Non-Fungible Tokens, this time launching the DGFamily, a new exclusive NFT community created in collaboration with luxury marketplace UNXD.

Dolce&Gabbana, unveils the launch of DGFamily, an exclusive NFT (Non-Fungible Token) community in collaboration with UNXD, a curated marketplace for luxury and digital culture.

In a series of tweets, the famous Italian fashion brand also describes the presence of 3 beautiful boxes available for the DGFamily drop, which bring increasing rarities and benefits for the owners. There are 3 variants and they are the Black, Gold and Platinum boxes. 

All it takes is to be a member of the DGFamily to purchase exclusive D&G NFTs and become a holder of benefits in both the physical universe and the metaverse. This will include access to exclusive drops and collaborations, both digital wearables and physical products, as well as access to an exclusive series of digital and physical Dolce&Gabbana events.

In this regard, Dolce&Gabbana stated:

Dolce&Gabbana with UNXD: DGFamily also accepts credit cards

In a specific tweet, Dolce&Gabbana describes how UNXD is the marketplace created on the Polygon network, whereas the DGFamily Boxes will instead be minted on Ethereum for provenance.

UNXD_NFT has also integrated with MoonPay to enable direct credit card payments via its NFT Checkout solution. Not only that, with the integration of MoonPay’s NFT Checkout solution into UNXD, all DGFamily members will be able to purchase exclusive NFTs with a credit card

The second milestone of the Italian fashion brand’s NFT journey

Dolce&Gabbana’s decision to launch the DGFamily community follows a bit of what happened in August 2021 with the launch of its first NFT collection, the “Genesis Collection”. 

Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, the two co-founders of D&G, personally designed the objects represented by the NFT inspired by Venice, wanting to link their creative work from the physical to the metaphysical world. 

The collection then saw record sales, reaching an impressive $5.65 million for the nine NFTs, which will also be usable in the metaverse to show off D&G’s designer clothes online.
