Hivearium NFT: artist Roberto Giavarini exhibits at Ceribelli Gallery

Multiversi is the new exhibition to be presented Saturday, 3 December, at Galleria Ceribelli in Bergamo, by Roberto Giavarini, artist and creator of Hivearium NFT, and Luca Daverio, jewelry designer.

Hivearium NFT: the artist exhibits his new Multiversi exhibition

On Saturday, 3 December, at the Ceribelli Gallery in Bergamo, artist and creator of Hivearium NFT, Roberto Giavarini, will present his exhibition Multiversi, which combines his paintings together with the works of Luca Daverio, an artist jewelry designer.

The new exhibition will be on display until 11 February 2023 and will feature nearly twenty-five previously unseen works by Roberto Giavarini and more than forty creations by Daverio, from Franco Daverio’s historical jewelry, Luca’s previously unseen sculptures to some of Pablo’s new generation works.

One thing the two artists have in common is the care, at times almost maniacal, towards their works. Furthermore, it is essential to pause and reflect on how much the element of light influences each of the two artists and their creations, a primary reason for the decision to unite them in a single exhibition space.

And indeed, since 1933 Daverio’s mastery has been expressed through an original style, shaping metals and gems, following his creative instinct to merge them into a single piece of jewelry.

On the other hand, Roberto Giavarini is known for his unique pictorial works for his innovative research on the technique used, from ancient techniques, such as engraving; indeed, he combines processes through new generation tools and materials, such as rotating blades or chemical materials not used in painting.

In this regard, noted art critic Vittorio Sgarbi reportedly described Giavarini’s works as follows:

“There is no stable space, no certain point of view, thanks to the use of chemical mordants and burin grooves, heirs of ancient graphic techniques, which destabilize, decorating the seemingly undecorable – the void – and retaining a light capable of reflecting differently depending on where it rests.”

Roberto Giavarini: biography of the artist

Roberto Giavarini was born in 1973. From 1999 to 2010 he was a student of Mario Donizetti. In 2008 he received first prize in the Darfo Boario Terme competition for his work Crocifisso. The jury included Vittorio Sgarbi, who concisely wrote, “Roberto has the hand and the head.”

Not only that, in 2011 Giavarini was invited by the committee chaired by Vittorio Sgarbi to exhibit at the Lombardy Pavilion of the 54th Venice Biennale at Palazzo Te, Mantua. In 2013 Giavarini held the solo show CODEX at the FORNI Gallery in Bologna curated by Vladek Cwalinski.

The following year, Giavarini exhibited the work UN VASO DI PANDORA at the exhibition ‘Spoleto incontra Venezia’ curated by Vittorio Sgarbi at Palazzo Falier in Venice.

In 2015 he exhibited the work A NOSTRA IMMAGINE at the Palermo International Art Biennial where he received the Guglielmo II Prize, while in 2016 he received the International Tiepolo Prize and published in the volume “ITALIANI Selezione d’Arte Contemporanea” edited by Vittorio Sgarbi, his work PAVO CRISTATUS.

In 2017 he developed an innovative painting technique on treated plate, based on the union of traditional techniques (egg tempera, oil, etc…) and the use of chemical elements ( acids etc…) for industrial use. Here too, the new works are presented in a publication edited by Vittorio Sgarbi.

During the year of the Non-Fungible token boom, 2021, Giavarini creates and launches the HIVEARIUM NFT project, an interactive metaverse in which digital works, holograms, videos and music composed by himself orbit.

HIVEARIUM NFT and HIVE MIND metaverse: the Cryptoart project

In early summer 2022, Giavarini launched his cryptoart and metaverse project: HIVEARIUM.

These are NFT collections created by the artist as virtual works, music, literary texts, and all that is then also present in the project’s interactive metaverse, called HIVE MIND.

It is an interactive metaverse because collectors who purchase the project’s NFTs will be able to see them in the metaverse and play an integral role in that virtual world and in the Hivearium community.

Behind the project is a team, of which Giavarini is artistic director, consisting of 3D web design experts, front end developers, back-end developers, marketing and financial consulting experts.
