Gracy Chen of Bitget will be a judge on the reality show co-produced by HELLO Labs

It’s official: Gracy Chen, managing director of crypto exchange Bitget, will be a judge on the reality show Killer Waller, produced by HELLO Labs and CoinMarketCap.

Below are all the details.

Bitget joins reality show Killer Whales

The reality show Killer Whales, produced by HELLO Labs and co-produced by CoinMarketCap, features an extraordinary panel of judges made up of the biggest and boldest leaders in the industry, among whom we will also find Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget.

In addition, the co-producers of HELLO Labs have confirmed that some of the biggest names in the field of Web 3.0 will appear as guest judges in the first season of Killer Whales.

The concept of the program echoes the popular TV show Shark Tank, but with a crypto twist, with the goal of reaching one billion viewers worldwide by the end of 2023.

As a reminder, HELLO Labs was founded by Paul Caslin, an award-winning, Grammy-nominated artist known for serving as creative director and producer of the MTV VMA Awards.

Earlier this month the first participants, the “whales,” were announced for the Killer Whales show, which include the most influential names in the Web 3.0 industry.

The latest addition to the program is Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget, who has been responsible for the company’s growth strategies since joining in 2022. Gracy joined Killer Whales along with other important figures in the Web3 ecosystem, as announced by CIAO Labs on Twitter

However, the full list of participants has yet to be published, CEO Sander Gortjes pointed out in a note, which stated the following:

“Gracy comes from heaps of experience in global Web3 markets, technology, execution, and corporate strategy, elements that we all analyse and find when vetting projects. We’re excited for her to share her knowledge and expertise, and provide invaluable takeaways to the entrepreneurs who enter Killer Whales.”

Gracy Chen: “educating the public about crypto is key”

With the arrival of the first season of a competition that promises to be compelling and exciting, the search for projects drew interest from more than 200 companies, which were evaluated and reviewed by the production teams at CoinMarketCap, Hacken and HELLO labs.

The team behind Killer Whales mentioned the goal of global prime-time television coverage for the show while they work on the creation of their original app, Hello TV.

The first season of Killer Whales is scheduled to debut in October 2023 on major streaming platforms. Details about the show’s distribution will be revealed over the summer.

Paul Caslin, a TV production veteran and creator of the MTV VMA Awards, is the mentor behind the show. Paul is also credited with directing the MTV European Music Awards, a show that featured some of the biggest stars of our generation.

On this new project, Grecy Chen said the following:

“Web3 is reshaping the world, and Killer Whales is a groundbreaking platform that showcases the potential of the crypto and blockchain sector. Killer Whale has the vision to open the door to the next billion users into Web3 by entertaining and educating them on all things crypto, which I echo a lot.

Through Killer Whales, I aim to share my experience and insights, some uniquely from running a centralised exchange with an ecological investment arm, to empower innovators to navigate this ever-evolving industry.”

As a reminder, Bitget has also partnered with Lionel Messi, the famous Argentine soccer player and winner of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. This partnership reflects Bitget’s desire to expand globally and promote the diversity and richness of its partnerships.

Bitget launches AI-based strategy for crypto traders

Recently, Bitget introduced the Martingale AI feature to simplify access to the Martingale trading strategy and leverage its benefits for novice traders.

This strategy is based on historical data that shows the tendency of markets to rise over time, allowing investors to gain a broader perspective of market behavior and adjust their trades and capital allocations efficiently accordingly.

With Martingale AI, automated trading is possible after setting risk appetite and investment frequency using parameters recommended by Bitget’s proprietary AI.

These parameters are calculated using back-end algorithms based on historical market prices and asset fluctuations, giving traders reliable benchmarks for their investment trades.

The Martingale strategy on Bitget offers a number of advantages for both novice and experienced traders, including the ability to trade in either direction

After selecting the Martingale strategy, traders can make profits by either going long or short, buying or selling assets.

Another significant advantage is customization and risk control, which allows traders to adjust various parameters of the Martingale strategy according to their trading preferences and risk appetite, such as profit targets and multiples of additional positions.

Novice traders can also experiment with lower threshold strategies by taking advantage of artificial intelligence and selecting from different types of strategies offered by the system, such as conservative, balanced, or aggressive.
