Bitcoin Cash (BCH) will be supported by HTC Exodus

A few minutes ago Bitcoin.com revealed that Bitcoin Cash will be among the cryptocurrencies supported by the blockchain smartphone of HTC Exodus 1.

Not only will HTC support BCH with the wallet integrated into the smartphone but, as part of the partnership, Bitcoin.com will offer the device on its website at a discounted price.

Bitcoin.com CEO Stefan Rust commented:

“There are so many synergies between Bitcoin.com and HTC. We are very excited to be on this incredible journey together”; Roger Ver added: “Bitcoin.com’s partnership with HTC will enable Bitcoin Cash to be used as peer to peer electronic cash for the millions of HTC smartphones users around the world”.

HTC Exodus will be a smartphone that will support not only BCH but also Bitcoin – with an integrated full node – as well as other cryptocurrencies including Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), some ERC20 tokens, some stablecoins like DAI and also some ERC721 tokens, the so-called NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens).

HTC recently also announced that this blockchain-based smartphone will allow users to exchange several ERC20 tokens such as BAT, KNC and DAI directly within the phone thanks to the integration of the Kyber Network (KNC) protocol.

The release date of the smartphone is expected by the end of the third quarter of 2019 at a price of about $300.
