Socios.com takes the field directly in Italy, becoming the new sponsor of Inter, the Milanese soccer team that won the last Scudetto.

According to reports, the Nerazzurri management seems to have chosen the successor of Pirelli, the previous sponsor who accompanied the team for 26 years.

And in fact, here pops up many surprises the now-infamous blockchain platform dedicated to fan tokens, Socios. A not insignificant title if you associate the historic Pirelli with the innovative and revolutionary blockchain technology adopted by Socios.

Already present in the Valencia jersey, Socios.com now enters Italy and expands its presence to a broader pool of fans. Not surprisingly, the mission of Socios.com is precisely to make blockchain technology and tokenomics a world associated with the sport.

Specifically, with Socios.com, fans will be more involved in the decisions regarding their club, thanks to the voting system based on Blockchain that allows fans to interact directly with the company.

Socios and Inter: Blockchain now on the field

A not insignificant leap that of Socios’ platform in embracing (in every sense) soccer players. The new Nerazzurri jerseys will therefore be signed with a sponsor from the cryptocurrency sector.

Already in the past, Socios has made a name for itself with Italian teams. Last year, Juventus FC had put on sale directly in its store, the Bianconeri jersey voted on Socios.com.

Specifically, the t-shirt named “Yourlcon X Juventus – Limited Edition” was chosen by the owners of Juventus’ official fan tokens (JUV), placed on chiliZ.

Not only that, at the beginning of this year, also Milan, thanks to the partnership with Chiliz, had issued its ACM token launched on the Socios.com platform. A strategic choice of the Rossoneri with 450 million fans worldwide would have kept fans’ involvement high thanks to digital, while the stadiums were empty due to pandemics.

But the fan token platform now seems to materialize a dream of being present as a representative of Blockchain and active fans of the club, directly on the field.
