Today HTC announced the launch of a new router, EXODUS 5G Hub, which allows a private and secure 5G connection and also the ability to run a Bitcoin full node thanks to Zion Vault
Users of these devices will thus be able to have the entire blockchain on their router. It should be noted that the entire Bitcoin blockchain is around 200 Gb of data with an annual increase of 60 Gb, so not all devices can always support these amounts easily.
HTC has revealed that the product should be ready for purchase during the second quarter of 2020, so maybe starting in April, whereas the market price is still unknown.
Like the Exodus 1 and 1s smartphones, this router provides the ability to retrieve private keys in case the device is lost, as it can store BTC, ETH, BCH, BNB, LTC, XLM and other ERC20 and ERC721 tokens.Â

Exodus routers will soon also support ProtonMail, the Brave browser and the VPN developed by Incognito, with the aim of improving the privacy of devices and therefore the protection of user data. As explained in the press release, even using tools like Alexa but remaining connected with this type of router could allow users to have more control over their privacy and security.
Moreover, at the end of 2019, the Binance exchange offered for sale a special Exodus 1 model with Binance and TrustWallet apps integrated.
