James Cullen bullish on Dogecoin

American director and producer James Cullen Bressack is very bullish on Dogecoin (DOGE).

In a recent tweet he wrote

“I said it before and i’ll say it again, DOGECOIN is going to hit $1. People are gonna regret not buying this now. It’s starting to spike”.

Cullen is a screenwriter, director and producer best known for directing Amazon Prime’s animated series CarGo

In the past few days he had already tweeted about the recent Dogecoin spike saying:

“DOGECOIN is Surging like crazy rn! Now is the time to grab some!”.

Cullen is evidently a big Dogecoin fan, and in these tweets, he actually refers to a movement in the price of DOGE from 2.2 thousandths on January 24th to 3.4 thousandths on February 9th, a 54% increase in just over two weeks.

In the excitement of the moment, Cullen imagined that this trend could continue, bringing DOGE up to 1,000 thousandths, or $1, but in recent days the price has fallen again, first to 2.5 thousandths and now to about 2.7 thousandths.

Dogecoin is not new to spikes of this kind. For example, at the end of March 2019, it was worth 2 thousandths of a dollar, but on April 4th it reached 4 thousandths, doubling in value in just 4 days. But then the price went back down again, reaching 2 thousandths in January 2020.

To tell the truth, not even at its historical high, on January 7th, 2018, did DOGE’s price ever approach the $1 threshold, stopping at $0.018, so Cullen’s forecast to date seems really exaggerated, not to say absurd.

However, his interest in cryptocurrency is curious, although he’s not the first director to express an interest in these technologies.

Some time ago, for example, it was the turn of David Lynch, who was involved as a producer for a blockchain film, “The Happy Worker”, currently in post-production.

The world of cinema is getting closer to these new technologies thanks to projects that bring the blockchain and cryptocurrency into the production process, or even just thanks to simple fans like James Cullen who, with their notoriety, lead more and more people into learning about them.
