Panties as a mask: John McAfee rejected in Norway

As the official profile of John McAfee reveals, he was blocked in Norway yesterday because of the mask he was wearing: a woman’s panties.

According to the relevant Norwegian authorities, the mask that McAfee was wearing when landing would not have been suitable for safety, and McAfee categorically refused to wear the correct sanitary equipment because, in his view, he would not be safe.

John McAfee’s mask: ingenious marketing stunt

Surely we are faced with a brilliant stunt by the controversial character, a stunt that has been amplified by the Norwegian authorities, who have played McAfee’s game. 

He has succeeded in his intent, and this shows how in the marketing sector he could compete with the most famous names.

As clever or ridiculous as it may be to go around the world with women’s underwear on your face, there’s also the social aspect to consider. The gesture has revealed a certain amount of masculism and little respect for the woman.

From a man like McAfee, one could even expect him to launch a new product line of these masks, demonstrating once again his instinct for business and for a market, that of masks, which in this particular period is very flourishing.

After all, in some parts of the world the health emergency has increased the demand for masks, but productivity has not been as rapid in meeting market needs. This is why the authorities in some places have allowed cotton masks, often home-made, to be worn instead of approved health safety devices.

It should be noted that McAfee recently launched a new project, the cryptocurrency Ghost, which is decentralized and privacy-focused. In this case too, there are problems with Intel for the name of the project. Ghost has several features like an eSIM and soon also a debit card.
